Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” and He also said, Go into all the world and preach the Gospel” So that is exactly what we hope to do in our ministry. We love people and we love God so we are compelled to share Good News with this lost and dying generation and to pray for others to go share the Gospel as well. We like to share the Gospel because we have been commanded to do that by our Saviour Jesus Christ. So we evangelize through witnessing 1-2-1, sharingGospel tracts, and publicly proclaiming the Gospel.

Why such a variety of methods you ask? We believe that they are all Biblical and we also believe that God will give increase to Gospel seeds sown and watered. A gospel tract for example can be handed out by the thousands and distributed en masse. It can be a very specific tract for a particular event or just a plain old Gospel message. Either way people generally take them and we love handing them out. And 1-2-1 conversations are really effective because they are very relational.

You may ask why open air preaching and perhaps you wonder isn’t it outdated? Well, we don’t use the culture to decide if something is relevant or not we use the Bible as our standard of cultural relavance. Every great preacher of the Bible was an open-air preacher, Elijah, Isaiah, Amos, Moses, Ezra, Jonah, Jeremiah, John the baptist, Peter, Paul, and Jesus Christ, etc. and every great sermon recorded in the Bible was preached in the open air; the sermon on the Day of Pentecost, the Sermon on the Mount, the sermon on Mars Hill, etc.

Open-air meetings will accommodate big crowds so lots of people can hear the Good News at one time versus only one person for example while doing a 1-2-1 conversation. Plus, we really believe in a place called hell. We believe that it is our responsibility to warn people of our deserved wrath in the fire and inferno. But, we also want to tell as many people as possible that God is offering a way of forgiveness through Jesus Christ and tell them to forsake their sins!

So our desire is to tell the world about Jesus. Our mission field is right outside our door so as we leave our house we pray that we can tell people about Jesus.
